this is great! do y’all ever pack salads in mason jars for lunch on the go? it’s my favorite thing. definitely assures that i’m getting more “green” in my day! i layer veggies in the bottom (always chopped carrots and sliced mini peppers (my fave!), sometimes some celery, radish, or plain slaw) and then fill to the top with chopped romaine or mesclun mix or whatever came in my csa box that week. then when i’m ready to eat, i add the dressing and whatever little extras i’m in the mood for (loving clementine segments and pomegranate airls right now!) and voila! i also LOVE making greek yogurt ranch dressing, like you mentioned. yum! looking forward to seeing your dressing recipe–looks like a lemony vinaigrette maybe?
Great idea with the mason jar! Love that!!
Thanks for the awe-some tips because salads can become very boring very quickly! You guys R-O-C-K! XOXOXO
Love these ideas, always need to boost up a salad, can’t wait to tell everyone at ww this Saturday to go to your video. I love beets in my salad, they add a lot of flavor and moisture, so you don’t need as much dressing. (best beets in the world, I order from Kitchen Kettle Village in Pennsylvania…harvested and made right there and jarred in small jars. You have never tasted a beet like this, I always have a case in my house). Also, just fell in love with a new salad dressing from Trader Joe’s… Champagne Pear Vinaigrette…only 45 calories for 2 tablespoons. It’s so delicious. Can’t wait to get the recipe for your salad dressing. Always looking for a good dressing. Looking forward to the next video….
Love your videos!
Where do you buy the GG Bran Scandinavian Crispbread Sprinkles? I haven’t seen them in any of my local grocery stores before, would this be a Whole Foods type product?
Link is added to the description! 🙂
About a year ago, I decided to start making my Subway Veggie Subs at home as a salad. Everything I would get on a Subway Veggie sub minus bread and cheese. Love it.I get the taste I crave and it’s all good for me. I could eat them every day…and pretty much do. Lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, cucumber, black olives, pickles, banana peppers and a little bit of home made olive oil and red wine vinegar dressing. All that yumminess and NO preservatives. By far my favorite lunch ever.
You girls are great. I love adding fresh strawberries in my salad with a small, small handful of walnuts. I always use a balsamic vinaigrette on mine and it tastes and looks delicious!

That’s the BodyMedia Core armband. It tracks calories burned, steps taken, and has a great online tool for losing weight. We used it on the show and still do!
What’s your favourite home made salad dressing?
What about Olivia’s salad dressing? Did I miss that part or is there a part 2 video?
Never mind! I went back and saw the note “next week: dressings”! Sorry 😉
Dressing coming up next week!
I want to hear more bout this salad dressing that is so delic…..please do tell
Thanks for sharing! I’m looking forward to trying some of these new products!
Delicious! I really enjoy making a fruity salad with apples, oranges, strawberries, and spinach leaves. You don’t even need dressing with the sweet fruit to give it some extra flavor!
