Hi Lovlies!!
In case you missed it yesterday on our YouTube channel, here is a new video from Olivia and me. We did an INTENSE workout and then interviewed our trainer: Antonio Compton. He also owns the Barry’s Bootcamp in Nashville.
Watch the vid for all the details (like: “what is Barry’s”??) and even if you don’t have it where you live you can find bootcamp style workouts to go to. Whether at your gym or even grabbing a couple of friends and putting together a workout. There are tons of resources online to help like this one.
Have you ever put together your own workout? If so, did you like it?

Hannah

So you’re saying it’s worth the drive to Nashville huh? I’ve never done a Bootcamp class before so maybe I need to get outside my comfort zone and check it out.
Totally worth it! Bootcamp is the best! Full body workout in an hour!! I enjoy classes because you still get personal attention and I can pick my favorite trainers to take from!!
Hey! Do you know how much going to something like this costs? Is a monthly membership or drop-in prices? If you don’t, no worries. We don’t have one in Raleigh yet, but when we get one I will keep my eyes out. It’s only a matter of time!
Hi Liz! It differs depending on if you drop in or buy a package! You can check it out on their site.

That is one of the reasons I like doing bootcamp or working with a trainer…I don’t have to figure out what to do. But when I do work on my own I tend to do variations of interval training that I put together.
Something like this…
Run 1 minute on the treadmill (lately it’s been at an incline of 4 at 6.0 rpms)
Biceps curls
Run 1 minute
Triceps Kickbacks
Run 1 minute
Squats
Run 1 minute
Shoulder Press
Run 1 minute
Crunches
Then I do the whole thing over again 3 more times for a total of 4.
That looks like a great workout!! I totally agree. I love BC because I don’t have to think I just have to listen!!
I do this at least 3 times a week. Changing up the weigh exercises I do each time. I write down my weight exercises before I go to the gym and then check off each time I finish a round or I’ll forget how many I’ve done.
I don’t have a Barry’s Bootcamp but I do have a trainer who kicks my butt. As a former fat kid, I find it funny that I know enjoy getting my butt kicked during a workout. Do you ever have those moments where you go, “wow, I can’t believe I do this willingly?” (I still hate exercising but I do it out of my own free will and not because someone is forcing me to do it!)
Good girl! Yes, free will is hard especially when you are tired. But you do it because your body deserves it!!
