    Also, it’s seems it’s easier to eat healthy in the summer but I seriously am like a BEAR come fall and winter… any ideas on how to stay active (without a gym membership) in the Montana winters?

  3. You two are so amazing! I am totally stoked to read your blog! I have been following you two and a handful of other BL11 people on twitter and I cannot even tell you how motivating it has been! In the last 3 weeks I have gone from literally not exercising at all to having done near daily work outs in the gym, walking 30 miles, and swimming 4 miles in two days. Reading about the success of you two and the other BL people has been such a motivator for me to get back into shape and lose weight! I have about 100 lbs to go, but I totally feel like it is doable for the first time in a LONG time! I’m really looking forward to reading your blog regularly!! Congrats on all your success and the launch of this new project!

  5. Loved it! I actually have a question about PMS and cramps, how do you work out like that??? Yesterday I was feeling so terrible that I could not get to the gym, and today I am dreading it, my belly hearts so much. Should I relax and wait until I feel better? I’m still counting calories and making sure I do not get over my limit…

    1. Natalia, it’s really hard to get the motivation to workout when you’re having PMS and cramps, but actually working out helps a lot with easing the pain and making you feel BETTER! If you can set your mind to it, you will feel better after you’ve worked out. If you don’t make it, it’s not a big deal, a few days off won’t kill you and counting your calories while you’re not working out is of course very smart! ๐Ÿ™‚

        1. Yes, Ashley is correct. It does help. As someone who suffers from severe cramps/possible endometriosis and PMDD, exercise is the one thing in my life that brings relief.

    I mean I was obsessed with a lot of people on BL11 (especially Court b/c we went to high school together, and OBVIOUSLY both of you) so I’ve kind of been following you, but this is more direct, which I LOVE!
    I’m excited to find out what you do in your workout. I usually aim for 2.5 miles and some weights, but I haven’t been seeing results, so I’m looking forward to hearing how to GET results.

  19. Hi, Hannah and Olivia! You have no idea how much you have inspired me! After watching both of you on BL, I decided to (on a whim) sign up for a local boot camp class here in Miami. That has changed my life! Don’t get me wrong, the classes I go to are REALLY hard (and it is extremely hot out here). Every time my trainer tells me to run another lap, I feel quitting. I think of the 2 of you and of your perseverance. Anyhow, now I am a better wife, a better mom, and better teacher because I feel soooooo good about myself. So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you! ๐Ÿ™‚

    Okay… about those protein bars… my favorite is White Chocolate Macadamia Nut (Clif bar). I have that one for lunch from time to time. After about 3 hours, though, I need a light snack to keep me going until dinner.

    FYI, you two are both a huge inspiration to me. I’ve recently decided to pursue a career in personal/group fitness training, which was spurred on by that episode when you all had to take a “final exam” and you taught Bob how to ride a spin bike. I thought, “Hey, I could do that, and it would be SO FUN!”

I do Weight Watchers, which doesn’t focus on calories, but sometimes I’m worried I’m not getting enough calories.   36. Wow–Norah did a great job–this is a beautiful blog. And thanks Hannah & Olivia for continuing to inspire me! I quit eating protein bars when I started writing down my calories in my notebook. I haven’t found one that is worth what it costs in my calorie budget. I thought they were a healthy snack, but…. So I started in the last week to make protein smoothie things. My favorite is from a Rocco Despirito cookbook I got at the library. It’s frozen strawberries, ice cubes, vanilla protein powder, water, and crystal light. It’s a little more than 100 calories a serving. (His tip to blend it for a very long time really takes away the grittiness of the protein powder.) Also, someone up there brought up sports bras. After testing many, I really like the ones made by Moving Comfort. If you google the brand, you can surf around and see who has the cheapest price. They are a little pricey–but they do the job when I’m running. Let’s keep the dialogue going!

  39. I am SOOOO glad you started this blog. You 2 were my favorites! I am on my own weight loss journey, losing only 1 pound a week which is kind of discouraging. I try to get in my 3 mile walk daily, sometimes even twice. I look forward to your tips and ideas to see how I should change things up to see quicke results. I look forward to your future posts!

  40. newbie here! although I am not here to get sports bra’s advice, I am here because you two ladies are super entertaining, and I was rooting for Hannah since episode 1 (she is such a sweetheart. single perhaps? lol) I am here to see what tips you will have. My biggest curiosity is how to curb my appetite without the usual drinking lots of water, chewing gum, chewing ice, etc. None seem to work and I want to eat all the time! grrrr lol Can’t wait to see more vlog’s. You two could have your own sitcom even!

  47. Thanks for doing this girls! There are lots of people in this world that need people like you to inspire them to get off their couches, take control of their lives, and make a change for the better.

    In my own weight-loss journey, I’ve run through pit falls and developed a lot of questions that I’m sure a lot of people have that are in the same boat. I’d love for you guys to address such questions such as, how many calories should you eat a day, how much exercise should you do, are you dealing with saggy skin and if so what is the best way to deal with it, what to do when you plateau, etc, etc.

    Okay, I have a few suggestions for things to do/vlog about. Actually how bout we call them challenges? coz I know u love those. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Challenge #1: rockclimbing! Indoors first *hot guys alert, Hannah!* and then u can brave the wilderness and hit mt. Everest or an equally formidable rock.
    Challenge #2: acting! Check out communitychannel on YouTube if u don’t know her already. The two (or three) of you would be an instant hit!
    Challenge #3: Speak and teach a different language. Like Chinese. Then go to Chinatown, order dimsum, and blog about its nutritional value (or lack of).
    Challenge #4: grow your own vegetables. And make a meal out of it. And invite a group of lucky followers to join u for a fabulous organic supper
    Challenge #5: create a 11k walk/run/bike/swim/climb event, purple-power themed of course
    I can keep going…but not sure if I am totally boring u!

    I just met you both at the expo in Boston Sunday..HIGHLIGHT OF MY LIFE! It was amazing, I was too choked up/nervous when I finally got up to you both I didn’t even get to say half the things I wanted to!

    I’ve struggled seriously and emotionally the past year..and it’s not the working out I can’t do because I am a CRAZY hardcore work out freak, I had mentioned to you I ran the Boston Marathon this year, and ran the BAA 10k right before I met you on Sunday before the expo..I just have the worst eating habits..I eat, eat, eat and can never stop sometimes at night..and I take emotional eating to a whole new level..everyday I tell myself today is going to be different and some days I do great..while others( like last night) I do horrible and I get so depressed, it takes over my life. I’m supposed to go visit a bunch of friends this weekend for 4th of July but I’m thinking of making up an excuse because I’m too ashamed of how horrible I look and feel and have put on pounds since I’ve left school.. Anyhow..I also mentioned to you I live virgoursly through your twitter/facebook so if you have suggestions or motivational words please help! I also currently just signed up with Sarah Moore and her program. I know Hannah you work with her she mentioned and I’ve read about!!

    Anyhow, I am SO EXCITED you have this blog now..I can’t wait to read everything..your both beautiful and I admire you in so many ways..128 is my goal/happy weight I want to get to..with some push from you girls I know I can do it. Please put your workouts/eating habits on here as much as possible!!

  71. I LOVE the LARA bar! It has no added sugar or any funky stuff. They are about 200 calories a pop but I think they are filling and delicious. Try “Cherry Pie,” dates, almonds, unsweetened dried cherries…THAT’S IT!
